You frighten me.
Your solid strength is relentless and unyielding
A current causing me to drift,
As you push me

You are not like your cousin.
A gentle breeze
Would refresh the day
Like tea with ice and lemon.
You snarl and bite and thrash.
And you scream.
It scares me.

Completely unpredictable
A storm.
Except without an eye
You are nothing like the stillness of Sunday
You disrupt the peace
Cackling like a devil
And ravaging through drafty windows
Waking children
who claim that it surely is only the wind.
The accomplice for the predator
Illusive.
And I am afraid.
