Wasn't watching him forget
His parents and his siblings.

Wasn't watching him forget
His own children.
The hardest part
Was when he didn't remember
The day we got married.
The hardest part
Wasn't watching him flip out on nurses
Because he forgot who he was.
The hardest part
Wasn't watching him punch
His own son because he didn't remember him.
The hardest part
Was when he woke up one morning
Where I was sitting at his bedside
But he didn't remember who I was.
