Society
I want to talk about the twisted nerve,
the tainted soul
the thousands of teens who can’t tame their tears
I want to talk about those who drag a blade across their wrists
the skyrocketing suicide rate of 30%
the suffering,
being sent to such measures
I want to talk about the generation that greedily steals, insults, and harms
where rape is because they were “asking for it”
where being gay in an abomination
I want to talk about the fakes, the liars, the abusers
those who feed off of feeling superior above others
harms, and hates
I want to talk about the children who creep into corners to conceal
themselves from their alcoholic father
who cry upon seeing their mother being abused
who can’t help but fall victim to violent procedures
I want to talk about the teenagers who stand in front of the mirror,
stabbed by the silhouette of despair
sulking, sobbing
scared of the shadow casted before their reflection,
sent to believe such shadow is she
I want to talk about the he and the she that comes with such controversy
I want you to think about a world without war,
no bullying, no crimes...
I want you to imagine a world where stars align in constellations for everyone.
