Two years ago, I met the most fantastic person of my life
But was unable to tell them they changed my life

Two months ago, I met another fantastic person of my life
I still was unable to tell them what I feel
And everyday, it slightly killed me
Knowing they don’t know

Were to me

Two weeks ago, I lost the most important person of my life
Two days ago, I lost the other most important person of my life
And I sat in darkness everyday
Questioning what I ever did wrong
Forcing them to leave me
In this abyss of darkness from which I cannot escape

Yesterday, I looked up through the chasm in which I was stuck
And saw a star twinkle above me
And then saw a thousand stars above me
It was just the turbulence of the atmosphere
Or an aeroplane carrying two hundred and thirty people with dreams
Or the moons of Jupiter
But I made a wish anyways
Hoping for the most important person in my life to come back
And the other most important person of my life to come back

I am still awaiting. Tomorrow, they will not come back
And I will eventually have to let them go
Return to themselves, allowing me to return to myself

And their silent voices will echo through the universe.
“You Are Exactly Where You Need To Be” they will say
And I will go to sleep embraced by their memories
Engraved in my existence.
