New York Love

We crossed paths in New York, where we both grew up.
Intricate drawings covered our apartment, apartment 46 B.
Afternoon tea, where we both dabbled in writing.
Our conversations took up at least half of most days.
Her fiercely frizzy hair, with her down to earth eyes.
I really didn’t know anything, but she brought me life.
Art galleries reanimated our relationship.
I knew I loved her, when we crossed paths in New York.
