The Mask
You didn't know me, you knew the girl with the fake smile planted on her face.
You knew the girl, that told everyone she was fine.
You knew the girl who never got hurt.
But behind the wall she put up,
was a girl with rips in her hearts,
with burns on her skin,
with string around her neck.
Everyone believed the disguise she wore,
she was really okay,
there was nothing wrong in her life.
And suddenly it was okay to destroy her,
and the wall comes crashing down.
It's too late for the truth to come out now.
The damage has been done,
and you are left to clean up the remains.
