Favorite Quote:
"and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him"

Mr. Worldly Wiseman, to whom do you bow down?
When you imagine the King of your life,
Onto who do you place the crown?
Is it the source of all your pleasure,
Or the barrier to all your pain?
Is it legality, civility, or something perhaps more vain?
Mr. Worldly Wiseman, help you did offer to me.
For I so desperately longed, from my burden to be free
Yet the solution that you offered
Seemed to falter and collapse
Like a shaky house foundation,
Your salvation did not seem to last.
Mr. Worldly Wiseman, now on my way I will go
I will journey to father places, learn things you do not know.
But I will think of you often, wondering to whom you will repent
Or if you will live a short life, stuck in secularity and content.

This is a very well written poem. I really like your rhyme scheme as well as how you spoke directly to "Mr. Wordly Wiseman" and asked him questions rather than speaking about him. This poem really triggers my imagination as it brings about so many questions as to who this man is, and that is one of my favorite things in a poem. Great job!
