The Pack
Don’t walk alone; they stalk you,
With their eyes of ice and their fur of steel,
They hunt together, in the Darkness
They wait for you, to stumble on snow,
They prey on the weak and the crippled,
Rise up quickly, in the Darkness
To call for help, would be a mistake,
Neither running nor hiding,
You stand, alone, in the Darkness
They find you, solo in the dark,
The pack surrounds and growls,
They move closer, in the Darkness
You bend down, to pick some up,
Twisting and burning, slowly but surely,
The fire starts, in the Darkness
The Alpha’s eyes are colder than cold,
They cower away, the flames, their enemy,
You laugh, in the Brightness
