I have now figured out the ceaseless sores in my mouth.
They remind me of my friend the parasite.
Oh how funny she is,
taking all these different forms.
A real ruthless game player,
isn’t she?
Envy is her name
and she creeps along the skin
of her silly silent host
It’s synergy?
Every flutter of my eyes
Every hushed and horrid scream
keeps my little envy
oh so entertained.
Pain only grows
and motivation only lessens
my little friend will disappear
eventually.
