I prefer when your hair crashes off of your shoulders
as a [litter] filled tidal wave does
When I witness the children sitting on their [hospital] sheets
Smiles as bright as their young minds
Parents [lost] in their not-present thoughts
He is in love with him
She in love with her
Humans [seemingly not] welcomed by others
Men and Women with their [cuts on] skin covered
In a world where they hold hands [, not as equals]
