"That's the thing about pain, it demands to be felt."

Without you I am emotionless.

Because when he kissed me on my pure soft lips, I felt nothing.
And when he kissed my neck, I felt nothing.

But there was a time when he let me lay on his chest, and I felt something.

He smelt of the cologne you used to wear.
The subtle but inviting aroma scent that had once filled my nose and soul.
It took me back to a time where you and I were happy.
Where me and him did not exist.
It was just us against the world.

It was your cologne.
And that’s when I felt something.

When he spread his fingers onto my delicate hands and in-between my fingers, I felt nothing.
Then he touched his soft finger tips onto my skin, and I had still felt nothing.

He then said something to me.
He called me beautiful.

And then I felt everything.
Because that’s what you used to call me.

He is not what I feel.
You are what I feel.

He is the nothing.
You are the everything.

I am nothing but emotionless when it comes to him.
I am everything but emotionless when it comes to you.
