adrenaline in the way
moonlight glossed
the rippling harbor of your hand against my hip

heart sprint in
the colors your eyes blazed on my back
in the early morning

a sunset,
you painted a school of smudgy pink fish in water color brush strokes

rising in
climbing
to the top of the galaxy on your brisk breath alone
kiss marks and goosebump braille that ran
over midday doubts behind your ears
they let me know that I lived in your bones in the daytime

rising in
the constellation
you found between my hair
and utop my round nose because
under glowy blue night breath
I am completely skyway illiterate

rising in
you are good at drawing the stars
on the corners of my mouth
they lit the trail we would dance home and

rising in
heading north while I connect
the white light glimmers on a pair of eyelids
rarely seen and

falling
in pulling your lips away,
feeling the navy blue flash slip and spill
the ease of your waxing moon talk and
the grace of our shooting star

and realizing
that you are looking into,
really,
a supernova on earth.
