This Hurricane
Your eyes are of a hurricane
Swirled with thoughts and feelings I’ll never know
The wide intoxicating stormy blue drowns my pain.
The moon watches the alluring show
Kissing your skin with royal light.
Between us, the air, a crescendo.
I drink this in, this memory, this sight,
So I can see it again one day, when you go.
The wind plays in your golden hair
I want my hands to be the air to play with it too.
To caress your face, trace details with care.
I want to kiss every inch of you
As if you are a broken porcelain doll
And my lips are glue.
I memorize the feel, your lips most of all
So I can feel it again, when life from me, you pursue.
Your eyes are of a hurricane and I'm in the current
They watch me drown, the stars say from up above...
"I have never seen a more flawless moment
or a more perfect love."
