Life is like a rose.

Life starts out as a mere seed
waiting to grow into something beautiful,
life doesn’t know if or when it will open up
and show its petals.
But if it does, you see something
beautiful and seemingly endless.

Not everything about a life is perfect though,

It gets stepped on,
It goes through sweat and tears,
It gets ignored,

Until it stands out from the rest.

life is never the same for too long.
life is always changing,
Growing stronger and taller
with much attention.

life needs to be fed and watered,
Trimmed and pampered.

After life has shown everyone it’s beauty,
The once beautiful rose starts to wilt and dry up,
taking with it all good good and bad memories
to the grave.
