The silver man's impish smile rains

over a velvet pool of inky blackness. 

The air is saturated from the weight 

of weightless dreams. 

Jewels come crashing down, 

sprinkled from heaven's hands, 

to grace this tortured orb 

with a reprieve from its pains.
