Once upon a time

There was an evil witch
Who liked to
kill
curse
bewitch.
Everyone accused her of these crimes
Without actually asking why.

She ate both Hansel and Gretel,
Pushed Rapunzel's sweet prince into nettle,
He lived.
Although the thorns scratched his eyes.
But in the end the witch was
Always brought to her demise.

Burned at the stake
Or losing her head
Each witch in these stories end up
Miserable,
Lonely,
Or dead.

But I’ll tell you what you silly Grimm’s Tales,
Favorite Folktales,
Bedtime Stories,
Where I get no glory!
The Big Story Book,
The Bluebell book,
All the tales for young and old
Yet who really gets the gold?

The prince, a knight, a man with strength
Or a child with wit of the greatest length.
Even silly peasants who mess with my stuff
And really, they ain’t that tough.

Hansel and Gretel ate my house
Rapunzel’s prince really was a louse,
I mean he tried to steal my daughter, what more can I say?
But anyway...

We witches are always slain
Even though the “heroes” are the ones to blame!
They take our kids
And invade our dwellings
It’s just about time we start rebelling!

So the moral of the story
Is not about wit
And it’s not being clever,
It’s not any of this crap whatsoever.

How should the story go?
I will tell you so.

Once upon a time
There was a heroic witch
Who would never
Kill
Curse
Bewitch.

And the villagers were elated,
Except for one person they hated,
Which was the former hero of the story
