she doesn't grow like the other ones
because of this some envy her
some look down upon her
she survives in the center of the desert
she sustains through the harshest winters
she survives even when surrounded by weeds
but despite these struggles she emerges
stronger and more vibrant than ever 
there is always one among us
she is a wildflower
long may she grow
