I rather think that’s just not me
But written down is her and her then me
The name below is my autograph
But I cannot be this girl in this photograph

Her hair is long
While mine’s cut short
A smile on her lips, singing a song
But my lips look sad, tears ready to extort

She lights up and glows
But I am cold, hidden beneath clothes
Only bloodstained scars left on my skin
The only proof of where I have been

And where are those friends that stand beside her
One on her right, far left, and her at the end
Those friends of hers are not my friends
Perhaps long ago they once were

No I rather think that she is not me
For she is the past that I cannot be
And if I let myself perceive
Perhaps my heart won’t break and grieve
