She never knew she deserved better
Always settling for what she had
She always stayed low
Afraid of what would show
Letting him push her around
Pushing her to the ground
She couldn’t hold it in anymore
So she went to find another door
A door that would have love
Making her soar above
She walked away, showing strength
Holding it in was her biggest mistake
