there is no victory
because you have won
only by terrorizing your opponent so much
that they feel that there is nothing in the world
left to fight for
you may dance and be merry
only to feel empty inside after
you’re a murderer
you killed innocent lives
they didn’t know what was right
those young men
fighting for their country
only to have their lives taken
by a ruthless foreigner
and to be killed in your own country!
they were only protecting us
protecting me, protecting the whole country
and everybody knows
the worst funerals
are those for people who made a difference
when you know that the person who is lying in
that crisp white casket died fighting for you
that is when you know there has been an injustice
for any life taken
is a bullet wasted
every bullet is another bullet wasted
we were not made to kill
but to love
and live in peace
but so many people think that they are right
and those people have no more room in their small brains
to listen to what others say
the only reason
our wonderful guardians
our soldiers
have to die
is because of one’s own selfishness
