I guess it’s ok.
It’s ok to feel this way,
It’s ok to hurt,
Because I guess it’s human,
And that’s what we are right?
Human?
No more than flesh, blood, and bones put together,
To make a few billion perfectly imperfect creatures.

And again I say,
That I guess it’s ok,
Because we all hurt,
But I ask,
At what age did you lose your compassion?
At what age did you learn to cause pain?
You see,
I have learned that people easily forget that others are human,
That they bruise,
They bleed,
And they tear at scars that remain long after you’ve left them for dead.
