Tick tock
Goes the clock
Handles dancing
To each number
To where it all seems
To end
Constantly ticking
As the nightingale
Keeps singing
Wolves howl
In the deathly shadows
We call night
Shadows creeping
Upon the stairs
Of our dreams
The haunted man
Wanders hopelessly
Leaves crunching under his feet
Oh what shall we do?
It’s almost midnight
I’m running out of time
The shadows are coming for me
And I can’t seem
To grip
This hopeless feeling
That halloween is just beginning
