I found my poem
Staring back at me
Beyond the hazy window
Darkness creeps
Where light should be.
A masquerade of black
And mirage
Of empty space.
Pencil robed in dew
Paper innocent
Pure and white
Like John Lennon
On Abbey Road.
How will I know
When enough
Is enough.
When will this void
Of hollowness
Be stopped.
Enough is enough
The darkness proclaims
I will write
Come morning,
When I see my sun friend.
