It's the little things

You told me to find my little victories
I hope you know I tried
Those petty little tasks of yours
They helped me when I cried
I picked up all my laundry
Straightened up my bed
Everything is neat now
Except for inside my head
My brain is doing tumbles
It’s a rotting freaking mess
I’m slipping through my fingers now
I’ve forgotten happiness
My fingers are growing cold
Numb around the blade
I wrote the note in pen
In hopes it would never fade
