The world is in turmoil.
Some children are overly spoiled,
While others,
Have no mothers. 

Students are stressed every day,
Not having time to play.
They could be unlocking their true potential,
But they are stuck in this prison,
Where they are driven,
To try and be "special".
But in reality,
You are destroying their mentality.

What has this world come to?
Adults act like fools,
While children stand on stools,
A rope around their neck,
And their life gone in a sec.

Sometimes I feel as though I'm chained,
Screaming your name,
To come and help me,
But it`s as if no one hears my plea.

If you feel this way,
Then come as you may,
We'll scream together,
At this world that has us tethered.
