In the mirror

On the wall,

There's a face

I always see;

Round and pink,

And rather small,

Looking back again

At me.

No, this can't be true.

Do my eyes deceive?

This thing that claims to have my face

Can not possibly be me.

Those demon eyes, that scarred-up skin...

Is this what I looked like all along?

What nightmare has overcome me?

Where did I go wrong?

The damage has been done.

There is nothing I can fix,

Not even with the help of a prayer or crucifix.

The demons have possessed me

To be the beast I have become.

There is a battle for my soul

Between myself and the monster I have come to be.

There can only be one winner

And I'm pretty sure it won't be me.

It seems have double personality. But I really love this it have all the characteristics that play in all roles to those who can barely look at themselves.

I love the meaning in this. How you can feel the emotions in this piece of art, in your poem.
