Autumn
She’s like fall like the gentle rains.
The thunderstorms, and everything in between.
She’s life and death.
She understands.
It won’t be long and she’ll be dead.
Her green eyes will fade once again.
The leaves have fallen
They shine a rainbow on the ground.
You should know that it’s time now.
She will kiss you goodbye
She will smoke away whatever last smile she had.
So now she’s gone
But she’ll be back, another day.

Fall time is my favorite season, and when it ends and the trees are bare and everything seems dead, I seem to die inside too. I smile less, but I know once it warms back up, I'll be back then.
