As the Colors Begin to Bleed
Fire ablaze in the skies, tip toeing along tree branches.
Silver ribbons tucked beneath the autumn petals…
colors begin to bleed together.
City window sparing,
soaring sheets reflecting faces below up to the heavens.
Dimension, royal red and glitter oranges, gray bisecting into the middle.
….slicing deep as the fairy tales splits open on the coloring book page.
Silhouettes,
Pirouettes along the horizon.
Diving deep into the midnight ocean dug by the heels that hold oneself up.
wood catches, cackling at moisture licking the pavement.
Sizzling to the anguish it pours out by the summer chasms in the caves.
One future rumbled next to another,
day by day… the dominoes stomp angrily down the stairs to freedom.
As everything tumbles down the pipe,
the colors begin to bleed.
