The Broken Soul
You gave me happiness, you gave me joy
You gave me rainbows at the end of the day
You brought me close and stood by me
Promising the stars and the sea
And now you’re gone
So soon, we didn’t even make it to dawn
The days are grim
The lights are dim
I walk alone
Chilled to the bone
My mind filled with despair
My eyes long lost their flare
It used to be you and I
But that long went awry
Now, I am just a broken soul
Trying to find you, somewhere in this world
