You tell your friends you don’t want to smoke, because it’s toxic.
But you don’t mind being used
When you’re cold, they spark you up.
Allowing you to exhale
Your problems
And second handedly inhale
Theirs.
Your name stays permanent on their pale, purple lips.
It’s dope.
Being wanted, then needed.
Everyone’s too high
To remember
That you’re not like the rest of them,
Everything’s too hazy.
But when it’s like this, you somewhat fit in.
But like smoke, it’s inevitable
You’ll evaporate.
And you’ll be too blinded to realize that you’re not
Significant
There’s a bunch of other
Girls
Like you
Waiting to be picked up.
You’re addicted to the puff;
They just like to blow.
Now, you really want to finish the joint.
After five minutes, they pass you.
