Haunting Dreams
They scream at me like I'm a pest,
they shoot at me like I have done something wrong,
they try to take me away,
they try to make me stay,
and I am as mean back
but then I feel bad,
so I say sorry
and get no answer back.
They haunt me,
they laugh at me,
these are my dreams,
the monsters inside my head will return with new schemes,
and I will try hard to fight back,
it may not work,
but hopefully the monsters won't come back,
and maybe the next night,
there will be complete silence
