Your laugh lives with time

and I know that time

is no laughing matter.

If you could be removed from this blue,

it's my perspective 

which you would see.

We never stop driving,

but I know you feel like being free.

Was it not you who told me

not to live life so seriously?

Why am I writing these words

about the tears that fall so easily?
