Stop telling me I’m beautiful,
And tracing imaginary lines on the small of my back.
Stop looking into my eyes like I’m perfect,
And saying you’re always going to be here for me.
Stop holding me tight before I leave,
And placing your hand on the left side of my neck when we kiss.
Stop.
Because I can’t afford to fall so hard for you when I know I’m bound to screw it up.
