"Success is not the doorway to riches, but the gate between work and harder work,"

I am falling

Falling into an oblivion

That is ceaseless and dark

I can see nothing,

And nothing can see me.

I have faded-

Into nothing

Quiet, unspoken words fill my mouth

And I want to scream them.

I want someone to listen.

But there's no one left.

All the years blur together,

And all the days stretch-

Time is worthless.

Time doesn't matter when you're a speck in eternity,

And the void encompasses all

I think-

Maybe time never really mattered.

Maybe it was all in our heads

Because if we end up in darkness anyway,

Why should time matter?

Why should anything matter?

But all the silence that I've filled the world with come backs to haunt me,

And I know-

That matters.
