If I were in charge of the world
Is cancel cleaning your room
Homework on the weekends
Reading logs and also
Freshman gym
If I were in charge of the world
There'd be shorter school days
Longer summers, and
Bacon every morning
If I were in charge of the world
You wouldn't have broken hearts
You wouldn't have bullying
You wouldn't have drama
Or writing prompts
You wouldn't even have bad hair days
If I were in charge of the world
The poor and depressed would become rich and successful
A diet coke would be a great way to start each day
And a person who sometimes failed
And did not understand
Would still be allowed to be
In charge of the world
