The sun and the sea’s romance began with a kiss
Soon the sun sprawls over the sea
It is gladly accepted
I cannot accept it so well
Maybe
I don’t love the sun enough
Maybe
I can’t shift like the sea
Is loving the sun  and shifting like the sea too much?
Can rays of sun be likened unto change?
Or waves unto time?
Maybe
one is not without the other
Maybe
they are only what they are together?
The sun sinks into a deeper embrace
The sea loving it, with beauty
Maybe
if the sun’s love is as natural as the sea’s shift
then my change should be as natural
as time?
Maybe
the sun is will be gone in the sea
Then too change shall die in time
This is my last hope
because if this change won’t kill me why not try?
Maybe
The sun is gone but it’s light shimmers across the sea.
Maybe.
it’s time to follow the sun but I am still  afraid
Maybe
I won’t survive  the night
But I’ll wait for dawn
Maybe
it comes soon.

The author's comments:

Recently I moved from a place I really loved. Prior to the move, I was very reluctant to leave, and I had many doubts about the whole thing. One evening I was watching the sunset. By the time it had dissapeared, I was ready for change, as I realized that it is a natual part of life, just as the day turns to night.
