So I walk
One Saturday morning,
As I sit on a cool, condensated, bench,
I let my mind take over, as my thoughts tiptoe in.
They bombard me with discomfort,
And make me feel uneasy.
I have to find a way to escape them,
So I walk…
The cool air rushes,
Against my back,
between my frigid toes,
And pours through my body.
As I turn my head,
I catch a pond in the corner of my eye,
So I walk…
Amazed by its beauty
I stare in awe.
With the simplicity that it holds,
And the whispering flowers surrounding its edges,
I become hypnotized,
Under its spell.
The ripples from the wind,
And the gracefulness it carries,
Leaves me speechless.

So I walk…
With every step I take,
The day becomes brighter.
As I look into the sky,
The sun is radiating breathtaking colors
Of pink and orange and yellow,
In every direction,
So I walk…
Crunching the leaves
Every time I step,
I begin to feel swallowed in the silence.
Walking under the fighting trees,
My sorrows start to arise.
So I walk…
White,
Large clouds surround me,
Blocking my view ahead.
My vision is a blur,
Nervous and anxious,
I become.
So I walk…
Click clack, click clack,
The noises of the hooves.
Reeking of an awful but comforting scent,
I pet the alluring horses.
Sneezing continuously, and huffing loudly,
I begin to laugh,
So I walk…
Approaching the long gravel driveway,
A blanket of relief is wrapped around me.
With the sun shining bright,
And the wind slowing down,
A lens of beauty is placed within my eyes.
Noticing the wonderful things about nature,
And having a fresh start to my day,
I walk inside to smell the aroma of my favorite tea.
Sitting down and feeling relaxed,
My troubled mind rests in peace.
