Poison
Two eyes, absent of tears
One heart, shattered to traces,
An armor of steel, shielding her fears,
A mask painted with subtle faces
Two kids, too young to be exposed,
Sheltered for the best in loving ignorance
Hold your venomous tongue with lips closed,
Leave them to wander in untouched innocence
Don’t spread poison to their tender minds
When tension electrifies the air
But keep the angels safe and blind
From Daddy’s foolish love affair
