for better or worse,

Awaken

The dreams of the past,
the reality of the present,
the fear of the future,
but is it really a dream?
Wake up my child,
for you have been forsaken,
down in the deep dark,
the darkness has awakened.
The anger leads to fear,
fear leads to hatred,
hatred leads to pain,
pain leads to suffering,
suffering becomes fear,
fear becomes hatred.
The dark feelings,
all the same,
all connected,
avoid the injected.
By-pass the dreams,
shatter your hunger,
let the light flourish,
be resurrected.
