Life Itself
Do you ever notice the small things in life,
Realizing that most things don't turn out right,
Throughout the days and around the town,
It almost feels like our world is tumbling down.
It seems as if bad things happen to the ones we love,
And they always end up above,
Wishing you could take their spot,
But first you have to connect the dots.
Losing someone is like standing on burning sand,
But all we really need is a helping hand,
One to guide us and help us,
One to lean on, one to trust.
In the end God always has a plan,
It even helps to get together with the clan,
Friends always get it right,
But in the end all you have to remember is, it's just life.
