They’re coming for me,
right around the corner.
They’ll never catch me
running in the night.

Scampering swiftly through tunnels and alleys,
Like a lizard, I move quietly,
with bugged eyes and a worried soul,
running in the night.

They’re getting closer,
Will I survive?
I will survive,
running in the night.

Tripping and stumbling,
Gasping,
I’m getting tired of
running in the night.

I can’t do it anymore.
My life is endangered,
I cannot keep
running in the night…

They’ve got me now.
A voice in my mind is telling me there will be
“No more
running in the night.”
