Long.
Thin.
Sharp
yet comforting.
One color.
One size.
Erasable.
Hexagonal.
Mechanical.
Swirling, twirling,
filling in the bubble.
Swooping, looping,
Filling in the blank.
Pen-like,
yet replacing ink
is graphite.
If not in my hand,
in my case,
or the palm of a friend.
