Do you smell that? It smells so familiar!

Hey! The family arriving, jollier than ever!

It has been a year, everyone's grown a foot taller,

Boys on sleighs zoom with a happy holiday holler.

Rooftops of house covered creamy cake frosting white,

As we decorate and prepare for the very special night.

"Ho Ho Ho who's that underneath the mistletoe!"

It's Misty Mackledoodle and Billy Bob Joe!

The cookies are baking and the bells are shaking,

The adults are kids as thier backs should be aching.

People are laughing and joining together,

while the moon shines in the cold and snowy weather.

Do you smell that? It smells so familiar!

It's the smell of Christmas Joy, and it's better than ever.

The author's comments:

It has been about a few months since I have done anything here, and I realized this would be the perfect time for my return to light spirits for this joyful holiday. I promise I will now be kept up for the people who like my poems. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

Love,

Mr. Jesse W.
