And you know,
I finish thoughts,
Punctuating with firm periods to show
I don’t sway, I don’t
Change my mind.
But no one could ever hope to depend on your
Fine lines of scrawling that snap at the
Slightest weight,
Accentuated by ellipses and phrases that
Never ever end.
Your eraser is your guide, your confidante,
Changing what was and what
Would have been
Constantly, yet inconsistently.
If you hate endings so much,
Why did we have one?
