The Same Mistakes

Can we fall repeatedly
Into the same mistakes?
When will we learn
How to change?
I want to say one thing
But my mind shifts to another
You distract me from my agenda
You make me go insane
Words left unsaid
Pain felt but not spoken
Angry inside, want to express
But words are lost in your surroundings
Will you ever know
The words I’ve left unsaid?
I secretly hope you will,
But I don’t know how to send them
I hope you forgive my frazzled mind
I really meant no harm
But somehow I have fallen
Into making the same mistakes.

I wrote this after having a disappointing encounter with my crush one night. :'(
