Just Like A Flower
Just like a flower
We start out small
Unborn, and have yet to bloom
The world doesn't know it yet…
But they’re not ready for us
So they try their hardest
To push rocks up against us
Blocking out the light
And leaving us to be consumed by the darkness
But all we need is that hint of
Sunlight, combined with the tears we shed
To blossom into something so much greater
And show them that the smallest,
Most insignificant things
Could make the world beautiful
