We use labels on each other,
Not caring what we say.
They are like a hurricane,
Harming  everything in its way.

We say mean things,
Like your short, and fat.
We never look inside,
We never even have a chat.

We say things like you are a ...
Popular,
Nerd,
Jock

All I hear are labels, labels, labels

Black ,
White,
Hispanic.

Labels, labels, labels

Jewish,
Christian,
Muslim.

Labels, labels, labels.

So go ahead label me, label them, label all around.
Who am I to stop you from the act you think is sound.
Go ahead ask me who I am.
I will simply respond...

I'm Human.

The author's comments:

I decided to write this poem because I notice even when people don't mean to, they label people. I think that it is important for people to get over differences and realise we are all just human, and that is the only label we should be focusing on.
