violinist's fingers MAG

January 1, 2009
By Srinath Reddy, Singapore, ZZ

underneath their
calloused demeanor
is a vibrancy
acquired painstakingly
during their births
into careers of
exhilaration and panache
achieved on the
fingerboard, the stage
on which violent rage stars
in orchestrations
of fury’s antonyms

The author's comments:
Srinath is seventeen and is in a pursuit of truth in the vast, fast and confusing world which still remains an enigma to him.
