No one to tell
Bending the earth with each step,
I watched you walk away,
And in my last comfort
A contorted crane
Warned me of a raging sea.
One in which an ancient temple crumbled,
Holding only a handful of innocence.
The blonde boy
Looked up to the sky.
He saw on the other side of the galaxy,
Twelve faced with despair
The size of our own sun.
The four others would soon vanish,
Leaving a small mark on my soul.
But the boy stood
In the shallowness of this earth
With no one to tell.
