As I stand here, I am puzzled
Mystified on how I can at least attempt to make you mine
Or how I can at least make you realize how perfect you are inside and out
Hopefully what I am about to say will bring about that realization

So just sit back and let me excavate your soul

Underneath your worn yet sexy exterior

I sense a soul divine, tranquil and exquisite

But also a spirit, which has been disturbed

Tainted and tinged by the hands of something or someone not even worthy of your time and your beautiful presence

But for some reason you entertain their rhetoric and look to them for something you already have within you

You hold the key to your happiness…you are the key

No one else gives you meaning or purpose besides you and you alone

Solely you are the greatest entity ever to bless this earth and my eyes

For there is no one else like you

No one with your magnificent conceptions and visualizations

No one with such keen and fierce ideas

And thoughts, which just need to be showered with self-esteem and self love so they can
Be cultivated into something worthy of your extraordinary stature

The sad part about it all however is that you don’t even know

You don’t even know how great you are

How perceptive you are

How warmhearted and how breathtaking you are

I am saying this as a man uplifting and acknowledging the heavenliness within

For it is there and I’m speaking to the part of you that knows it, your true self

I am trying to breakthrough that worn yet sexy exterior and bring forth

The diamond hidden in the rough, for you are a queen

A queen who need no king or anyone else but her self

A queen, which I see right in front of me and I bow down in awe

And this is not that usually rhetoric your ears are tormented with

But these are the sentiments from my heart to yours
